BMW Motorcycle Club of Colorado Privacy Policy

• The BMW motorcycle Club of Colorado collects the information you provide at time of membership renewal and event registrations to assist in the operation of the Club, the Events the Club sponsors and provides and helps in the Club’s communications that you might receive. There may be circumstances for planning or events, etc., that your personal contact information will be shared with the Club Board of Trustees and event organizers.

  The BMW motorcycle Club of Colorado does not use or sell your personal data for any reason., Nor does the BMW Motorcycle Cub of Colorado collect or keep any banking or credit card information. However, by completing purchases with us you do agree to have your credit card and personal information securely stored as part of a payment profile within a third-party payment gateway, Personify Payments. This securely stored payment profile will be used, when authorized, for automated recurring payments and will allow for easier and faster checkouts. No credit card information is stored within BMW Motorcycle Club of Colorado Website, and all payment data is accessed by way of a secure API. Under no circumstances do we share credit card or personal details.

  Any Club activity could include, but will not be limited to Club Social events, Club organized motorcycle riding events, Club meetings or anything that the Club organizes as a gathering of members.

• Contact persons – members can contact the current Webmaster, Club President or Vice President, Treasurer or Secretary on the Board of Trustees for questions regarding privacy.
  
  
• Data Collection: All the data that the Club collects and holds can be found in your member profile and found online. Please note that no payment information is held by the club.

• Persona Data Use: Personal data is used solely for communication, event registration and for purposes of checking in at events.  Additionally, the information may be used to summarize statistics regarding Club events. Any data that is shared with a 3^rd party will be for the use of conducting portions of club events such as, but not limited to, providing meals, projected attendance numbers and providing access to events. Additionally, only the data necessary for that service will be provided.
  
  
• Giving Consent for Others: The BMWMCC will assume that Club Members have the consent of the emergency contact person provided at registration. We will also assume that when a member or contact is adding a spouse or guest to an event or registration that they have been given consent to add that contact information. We will also assume that our Industry Partners have the consent of those whose names they have provided for our Industry Membership Bundles.

• 3rd Party Applications: While the BMW Motorcycle Club of Colorado does use other 3rd party applications in course of our business operations, no data from our website is shared with these Applications.  Data for 3rd party applications (such as Square for rally payments) would be collected individually through the voluntary use of that specific 3rd party application.
  
  

1. Rally and Event Notifications:  You MAY be notified by text in the event of a cancellation, date change, road closure, or other information that the Club feels is important and time sensitive where email or website post may not suffice.
   
   
2. Reminders:  You may receive important or time sensitive reminders of event registrations, membership renewals, etc. You may also receive a text reminder of an expiring annual membership. 
   
   
3. By checking the TEXT NOTIFICATIONS AGREEMENT  box in your user profile, you are providing BMWMCC  informed consent that will allow BMWMCC to send automated text messages as described in 1 & 2  above to the cell phone number provided to us at sign-up.  You may Opt out by editing unchecking your consent in your user profile.
