The BMW motorcycle Club of Colorado is proud to continue the tradition of the very popular 100,000 Foot Ride this year on August 8th, 2026.
The BMW Motorcycle Club of Colorado is a 501C charitable organization. The 100,000 Foot Ride is one of the Club's largest fundraisers for charities that receive our donations. These charities include the MOA Foundation, Motorcycle Relief Project, Wilderness on Wheels, Food Bank of the Rockies, National Motorcycle Safety Foundation and the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride.
The 100,000 Foot Ride will again, as the name implies, takes riders over more than 100,000 feet of mountain passes in a one day ride. Thanks to Colorado's Rocky Mountains, this is a ride that is quite unique to Colorado, as there are few other places in the world where this can be accomplished. In 2025 more than 200 riders participated in the 100,000 foot Ride.
The ride itself is only organized in a loose sense. There is no mass start of all riders. Instead, riders that register will receive the route in both a GPX file and turn-by-turn formats the week of the event. All riders are encouraged to form their own groups and explore the high country of Colorado at their own pace. The route will be approximately 370 miles in length.
Expect to have plenty of views to slow you down and take pictures of the mountains and scenery you will be passing through.
